What we do!

Tails on Trails offers all services 7 days a week (*Premium rates apply on weekends). Your dog(s) will be picked up from your home and brought to a nearby dog friendly location that is mentally and physically stimulating. Group pack walks are typically off leash (dynamic depending), though we start all new dogs on a long line to help form a bond between your dog and the pack leader. We also do long line work with your dog to assist in establishing a reliable recall. At your free consultation, we are happy to discuss and/or enforce any specific training methods you may have in place for your dog.

GROUP PACK WALKS:

If your dog loves to explore, and has excess energy to expel, and gets along with other dogs; a group pack walk is a good option for them. Put your mind at ease while at work (or not) knowing your dog’s mind and body are active with our group pack walks. Pack walks are 1 hour in length (excluding travel time) and are generally off -leash (dynamic depending). Typically your dog will be out of the house for approximately 2 hours.

Weekdays - $25/walk
Weekend walks - $30/walk
 
Additional dog (same household) 50% reg. rate
Holiday rates are one and a half (1.5) time regular rate.

PRIVATE WALKS:
 
If your dog doesn’t get along too well with others, or isn’t great off leash but still needs the mid day stimulation, then a private walk is your good choice. Private walks are tailored to your dogs’ requirements and activity level. Your dog(s) will walk one-on-one with one of our walkers around your neighbourhood. Private walks are 30 minutes in length and can include fetch games as well. This service is tailored for you and your dog.
 
30 minute private walk - $22 (excludes weekends)
30 minute private weekend walk - $27
 
Additional dog (same household) 50% reg. rate
Holiday rates are one and a half (1.5) time regular rate.

PUPPY AND HOME VISITS:
 
Puppies and elderly dogs sleep a lot but they also get lonely and bored. But even worse can have accidents from small/faulty bladders. And that can get messy. Don’t feel guilty about leaving you puppy/elderly dog at home all day while you’re at work. Puppy and Home Visits include; potty break, feeding (*if required), clean up of any accidents, cuddles, play time, training/manners, and are 30 minutes in length.

One visit a day : $23 (excludes weekends)
Two visits a day : $40 (excludes weekends)
 
Weekend one visit a day: $27
Weekend two visits a day: $45
 
Additional dog (same household) 50% reg. rate
Holiday rates are one and a half (1.5) time regular rate.

BATHROOM BREAKS:
 
If you have no need for your dog to head out on an adventure but they still need to be let out for a potty break, then this service is for you. Our Bathroom Breaks are a short visit to let your dog(s) out to do their business in your yard, and clean up of any messes.

One Bathroom Break: $20 (excludes weekends)
One Weekend Bathroom Break: $23
Additional dog (same household) 50% reg. rate
Holiday rates are one and a half (1.5) time regular rate.
Extra Charges apply for administering medication.
 

IN HOUSE BOARDING:
Heading out of town and don't want to leave your dog in a kennel environment? 
We come sit at your house where your dog is comfortable in their own surroundings, thus reducing stress and anxiety. Your dog will go on our off leash adventure hikes if suitable, be fed their regular meals and get lots of love and attention keeping a similar routine for them. Dogs thrive off of routine.
